The Leader in Pink
The 'pink sweater' is our version of the 'yellow jersey' which signifies the leader of the Tour de France. For the 'Golf Extravaganza' the 'pink sweater' signifies the person who had the the best score that day and that lucky devil gets to wear the sweater that evening and also the following day during the next round. The pink 'Ralph Lauren made' sweater was a gift from my mother-in-law that I reluctantly gave up for the greater cause.
